I got my first Canon 35 mm camera as a gift from my mother. With it I started taking pictures of anything that I saw: animals, buildings, people and flowers. I showed them to my family and friends and they all agreed that I take beautiful pictures. Everyone was encouraging me to go into professional photography.
    My first big job was the wedding of my aunt's niece. I was asked to do it as a favor. Being a beginner, I was so eager to do it; a little nervous but excited too. At first I was very uncomfortable but as I started clicking away, I got so immersed and it became so easy. Everybody loved the pictures I took and I felt very happy and proud of what I have accomplished.
    Because of my busy schedule, I put photography aside and at some point lost interest in it. Until my wife, still just my girlfriend at that time, entered one of my pictures in an online photography contest. She didn't tell me about it and just surprised me when she gave me the news that my picture won the contest. I didn't win any money; just 100 rolls of film but I felt great. That made me realize I should continue what I love doing. Finally I decided to be a professional photographer.

    We, my wife and I, considered different names for the business. A lot of suggestions were made on which we did not agree. Finally we both decided on the name Prizm. It sounds powerful and easy to remember.
    The first professional job of Prizm Incorporated was on March 12, 2005. It was a wedding and birthday occasion combined into one celebration. There were about 125 guests; really a big party. As expected, I was nervous at first but then got comfortable, again, as soon as I made my first shot. My imagination and artistry went to work. I took as many pictures as I can, trying to capture great shots of the couple and the guests. I took both posed and candid pictures. My clients were so pleased with my work that they paid me extra for the great job I did.
    Basically our business is small and new. We are trying to improve everyday. The scope of our services cover weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and other occasions.
